How to uninstall DMIScope manually?
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND REMOVING DMIScope MANUALLY EXCEPT IF YOUR UNINSTALL INFO IS CORRUPTED!

IMPORTANT: This article contains information about modifying the registry. Before you modify the registry, make sure to back it up and make sure that you understand how to restore the registry if a problem occurs. If you really need removing DMIScope installation manually, then you have to:

  1. Shut down DMIScope.EXE (if open).
  2. Remove the entire registry tree:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\APSoft\DMIScope
  3. Remove the entire registry tree:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\DMIScope
  4. Remove the entire registry tree:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\DMIKD
  5. Remove the entire registry tree:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MenuOrder\Start Menu\Programs\DMIScope (if exist)
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\DMIScope.exe
  6. Reboot computer
  7. Delete DMIScope installation directory with all it's contents (i.e. C:\Program Files\APSoft\DMIScope)
